SOLARISKIT™ SOLAR WATER HEATING

Hot Water. Powered by the Sun. Designed Differently.

Harness solar energy for everyday hot-water needs with an innovative solar thermal system designed around simplicity, practical deployment, and everyday use.

THE TECHNOLOGY

Solar Thermal, Reimagined.

At the center of the SolarisKit system is HelioFlow™—a compact, modular solar thermal collector designed to capture heat from sunlight and put that energy to work heating water.

Its distinctive prismatic geometry allows the collector to receive sunlight across changing solar angles without mechanical tracking, while its modular architecture allows multiple collectors to be configured around the hot-water requirements of the application.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

From Sunlight to Hot Water.

SolarisKit brings solar collection, intelligent system control, circulation, and hot-water storage together in one integrated architecture.

Sunlight becomes usable thermal energy. That energy is transferred into the water-heating system, managed through intelligent controls, and stored for use when hot water is needed.

01 — CAPTURE

Sunlight Enters the Collector.

Sunlight passes through the collector's transparent solar-glass surfaces and reaches the internal absorber, where solar radiation is converted into thermal energy.

02 — TRANSFER

Heat Moves Into the Water.

The absorber transfers collected thermal energy to water circulating through the system, increasing its temperature for use in the hot-water application.

03 — CONTROL

HelioLogic™ Manages the Solar Loop.

The HelioLogic™ controller uses system sensors and circulation control to manage water movement through the solar loop as operating conditions change.

04 — STORE

Store the Heat Until It's Needed.

Heated water moves into hot-water storage, where it can be retained for use by the connected home, building, facility, pool, spa, or other appropriate application.

SOLAR ENERGY → THERMAL ENERGY → HEATED WATER → SENSE → CONTROL → CIRCULATE → COLLECT  → STORE → USE

REAL-WORLD APPLICATIONS

One Technology. Many Ways to Put the Sun to Work.

Hot-water demand looks different from one property to another. SolarisKit's modular approach allows solar thermal systems to be configured around the application, available space, hot-water requirements, climate, and existing infrastructure.

From individual homes and pools to hospitality and larger facilities, the objective remains the same: put available solar energy to productive use.

01 — HOMES

Put Solar Energy to Work at Home.

Support everyday domestic hot-water needs with solar thermal technology configured around the household and property.

02 — POOLS + SPAS

More Comfort. More Help From the Sun.

Swimming pools and hot tubs represent a significant thermal demand, often requiring high amounts of conventional energy to maintain comfortable temperatures. SolarisKit thermal technology allows that demand to be supplemented by capturing and putting solar energy to work directly for the water application.

The SolarisKit system can be integrated as a dedicated loop for heating pool or spa water through a heat exchanger or configured to work alongside existing conventional heating systems, reducing overall gas or electricity consumption while helping to extend the swimming season.

EXTEND COMFORT

Use available solar energy to support comfortable water temperatures.

REDUCE CONVENTIONAL HEATING DEMAND

Supplement conventional pool or spa heating with solar thermal energy.

CONFIGURE TO THE APPLICATION

Modular collector arrangements can be evaluated around the property's thermal demand and available installation area.

03 — HOSPITALITY + MULTIFAMILY

Hot Water at a Different Scale.

In hospitality and multifamily environments, hot water is a critical and constant requirement. Whether for guest rooms, shared laundry, kitchens, or recreational amenities, the demand is recurring and predictable—making these properties ideal candidates for solar thermal integration.

SolarisKit provides a scalable solution that works alongside existing boilers and water heaters to pre-heat water using available roof or ground space, reducing the fuel or electricity required to meet daily thermal loads.

ADDRESS RECURRING DEMAND

Put available solar energy to work where hot-water use is frequent and ongoing.

SCALE MODULARLY

Multiple collectors can be configured together to support larger thermal requirements.

WORK WITH EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE

Evaluate solar thermal as part of the property's broader hot-water system rather than treating it as an isolated technology.

Applications may include guest accommodations, multifamily housing, resorts, pools, spas, kitchens, laundry, and other appropriate hot-water loads.

04 — COMMERCIAL + INSTITUTIONAL

Turn Available Space Into a Thermal Resource.

Commercial and institutional facilities often manage significant and recurring hot-water demands. From schools and healthcare centers to large-scale laundry operations, the requirement for consistent thermal energy represents a constant operational cost and infrastructure challenge.

SolarisKit offers a practical way to address these loads by transforming rooftops or adjacent open areas into active energy assets. By integrating high-efficiency modular collectors, facilities can supplement their primary heating systems with solar thermal energy, improving resilience and reducing reliance on conventional fuels.

SUPPORT RECURRING HOT-WATER LOADS

Evaluate solar thermal for facilities where water heating represents an ongoing operational demand.

CONFIGURE CAPACITY AROUND THE FACILITY

Modular collector arrangements allow system capacity to be evaluated for different applications and project conditions.

INTEGRATE INTO A BROADER ENERGY STRATEGY

Consider solar thermal alongside the facility's existing water-heating equipment, energy infrastructure, and resilience objectives.

Potential applications may include healthcare facilities, schools and universities, commercial kitchens, athletic facilities, housing campuses, laundries, and other operations with appropriate hot-water demand.

05 — NEW DEVELOPMENT

Plan Solar Thermal Into the Project.

The best time to consider hot-water infrastructure can be before the project is built.

For appropriate new developments, solar thermal can be evaluated during project planning alongside hot-water demand, storage, plumbing, available installation area, conventional heating equipment, and other infrastructure requirements.

Early consideration gives project teams an opportunity to evaluate how the technology fits the development rather than treating solar thermal as an afterthought.

PLAN EARLIER

Consider solar thermal while the project's water and energy infrastructure is still being developed.

DESIGN AROUND DEMAND

Evaluate system configuration against anticipated hot-water requirements and project conditions.

INTEGRATE THE INFRASTRUCTURE

Consider collectors, storage, circulation, plumbing, controls, and conventional heating as parts of the broader hot-water system.

Potential applications may include residential developments, hospitality projects, mixed-use properties, planned communities, institutional campuses, and other developments with appropriate hot-water demand.

Part of a Bigger Infrastructure Conversation. Through Utility Saving Solution's broader project-development approach, solar thermal can be evaluated alongside other appropriate energy, water, building, and resilience infrastructure.

WHY SOLARISKIT

Designed Differently From the Beginning.

SolarisKit rethinks more than the shape of a solar thermal collector. Its approach considers how solar thermal equipment is manufactured, transported, assembled, configured, controlled, and deployed.

The result is a modular system designed to make solar hot-water technology practical across a wide range of applications and project environments.

01

FLAT-PACK ARCHITECTURE

"Transport Less. Assemble Where It's Needed."

HelioFlow™ is designed around a flat-pack architecture, allowing collector components to be transported compactly and assembled closer to the point of installation.

WHY IT MATTERS

More practical transportation and handling can become particularly important when projects involve multiple collectors, remote locations, international deployment, or constrained logistics.

02

MODULAR BY DESIGN

"Start With the Application. Configure the Array."

HelioFlow™ collectors can be combined into multi-collector configurations so solar thermal capacity can be evaluated around the requirements and conditions of the project.

WHY IT MATTERS

The same technology platform can be considered across applications ranging from individual properties to larger hot-water environments without treating every project as the same installation.

03

DISTINCTIVE COLLECTOR GEOMETRY

"Designed Around Changing Solar Angles."

HelioFlow's distinctive prismatic geometry is designed to receive sunlight across changing solar angles without requiring mechanical solar tracking.

WHY IT MATTERS

The collector's physical design performs part of the solar-orientation work without introducing a moving tracking mechanism.

04

PURPOSE-BUILT MATERIALS

"Rethinking the Conventional Collector."

SolarisKit's collector architecture uses engineered polymer components as part of an approach intended to simplify the physical solar thermal collector and its deployment.

WHY IT MATTERS

Material and product design can affect handling, manufacturing, logistics, installation considerations, and how the technology is deployed across different markets.

05

CONNECTED SYSTEM CONTROL

"Intelligence Beyond the Collector."

HelioLogic™ adds sensing, circulation control, and system-data capability to the solar thermal architecture.

WHY IT MATTERS

Greater visibility into system operation helps turn solar hot-water infrastructure from something that simply sits on a roof or site into a system whose operation can be observed and better understood.

BUILT FOR MORE THAN COLLECTION.
Designed With the Journey in Mind.

From manufacturing and transport to configuration, control, and deployment, SolarisKit's approach considers more of the journey required to put solar thermal technology to work.

For USS, the right solution begins with the application—not simply the product.
