Special Additional Water Filtration Steps
In the water generation process, in order to provide premium, mineralized drinking water, these built-in mineralization canisters and additional filters are not included in the Pack S, The Pack, and The Pack X models which produce clean, potable water for general use.
5-Step Process
1. Molecular Cell Filtration : This step removes a wide range of inorganic and organic molecules, including harmful parasites and toxins such as heavy metals (e.g., copper, lead, arsenic). It acts as the first line of defense in purifying the water by targeting contaminants at the molecular level.
2. Sintered activated carbon filtration : Utiizing proprietary technology, this step performs the dual function of sedient filtration and activated carbon treatment. It effectively provides a secondary layer of particulate and organic matter filtration while removing chlorine and organic chemicals, which contribute to unpleasant taste and odor.
3. Ultra-fine filtration : In this stage, water passes through a membrane that blocks particles larger than 0.1 μm (microns). This provides guaranteed protection from any dust, pollen, pollution, wildfire smoke, bacteria, and more. For reference, this is 5X finer than a Class VI Brita filter and 100X finer than the typical home water filtration syhstem in the US that can filter particles only up to 10μm - 30 μm. Additionally, these filters protect from any PFAS that might be airborne if your reside near an industrial site. For reference that average size of common PFAS particles (e.g. PFOS and PFOA) is between .3 μm - 1.8 μm.m, effectively removing very fine sediements, colloids, spores and other harmful organics.
4. Microfiltration : This step enhances the solubility of dissolved oxygen and mineral content in the water, simultaneously raising the pH levels to a slightly alkalne state. The result is water that is not only cleaner but also healthier to drink.
5. Coconut shell carbon and mineralization filter: The final stae of the filtration process, where water passes through a specialized caratridge designed to enrich it with essential ions including calcium and magnesium. This step refines the water's tase and odor, ensuring it is both refreshing and beneficial.
