About the Role

- Serve as a senior, customer-facing consultant for Utility Saving Solutions in metro‑Atlanta, engaging commercial and high‑value residential accounts to specify and deliver integrated energy, power management, and resilience solutions.
- Lead technical needs assessments, site surveys, and feasibility analyses; translate technical data into clear business cases and ROI models for customers.
- Develop and present tailored proposals that combine hardware, controls, and service agreements to optimize energy, power quality, and load management.
- Own complex sales cycles from lead qualification through technical validation, negotiation, contract close, and handoff to project delivery teams.
- Act as the escalation point for technical questions during pre‑ and post‑sale phases and coordinate cross‑functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) to ensure customer success.
- Mentor and support junior Energy Conservation Representatives; contribute market and product feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of strategic accounts, driving revenue through consultative selling and long‑term customer relationships.

- Competitive base salary plus generous, uncapped commission tied to contract value and profitability.
- Performance metrics include revenue closed, average deal size, pipeline conversion rate, customer satisfaction (NPS/CSAT), and measured project energy savings versus forecast.

Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, Power Engineering, or a closely related technical field; advanced degree or professional certification (PE, CEM, LEED AP) preferred.

  • Demonstrable background in power management, energy efficiency systems, controls, battery storage, microgrids, or building/industrial energy systems.

  • Proven track record of closing complex, technical sales or commercial projects with measurable energy and cost savings.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience building ROI, lifecycle cost, and payback analyses.

  • Excellent client consultation and presentation skills; able to explain technical solutions in business/value terms.

  • Project coordination experience, including working with installation teams, third‑party vendors, and finance stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with site assessment tools, basic electrical drawings, and common energy modeling or sales tools (e.g., Excel financial models, simple load/profile analysis).

  • Self‑starter with high integrity, organized follow‑through, and comfort working on uncapped commission structures.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on‑site visits.

  • Preferred: experience in utility programs, demand response, performance contracting, or distributed energy resource (DER) markets.
